Boxing Fans: Pacquiao vs Ugas Viewing Party at Sapphire

This Saturday night, August 21, Sapphire Las Vegas will be screening the WBA Welterweight Championship fight between Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas live on PPV. Pacquiao is now 42 and hasn’t been in the ring for two years. Even he admits this may be his last fight. If you’re going to be in Vegas to see this fight, don’t wait any longer to make your plans.

Fight fans were depressed when the Pacquiao/Spence WBC Welterweight Championship fight was canceled due to Spence’s eye injury. This fight sprang up as a direct result. The winner of this WBC fight (the sportsbook odds heavily favor Pacquiao) will likely then fight the recuperated Spence to also capture the WBA Championship.  At 35, Ugas is no spring chicken, though he seems to be in his prime as a fighter. This should be a good fight.

The fight takes place at T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas. The expensive seats are already sold out. Currently available seats range from $300 to $2,000. PPV at home will cost you $75. None of these optionss will provide as good a view of the action as the big HD screens at Sapphire.

Sapphire will be screening this fight with numerous package deals available for individuals (starting at $30) and for groups of two to ten guests on their website here. Or call 702-869-0003 for reservations, complimetary limo pickup, more info, etc. All Covid-19 restrictions will be adhered to, so wear a mask to enter. You will not be required to wear a mask if you have a drink in front of you, which you will. Doors open at 6 pm. Topless, full bar, 21+
