Conor McGregor Returns as Welterweight vs the Cowboy
Conor McGregor has such a strong fan base that Forbes has said the UFC can’t survive without him. I can tell you Las Vegas will be packed for his return to the cage, fighting Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in UFC 246, which will take place on Saturday, January 18, at T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor hasn’t fought since 2018 at UFC 229 when he lost by submission to lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov. Before that, McGregor lost his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
To return to being the UFC’s champion champ and maintain his megastar status, McGregor needs to crush the popular Cerrone, who is looking for a life-changing upset.
Tickets for the event range from $300 to $9000+. The event is expected to sell out so if you’re planning to see it live, get your tix asap. The good seats are in the $1000 and up range.
The best seats, however, will be in the top Vegas strip clubs, where you can watch the fights with a drink in your hand and a topless babe in your lap. So far, three clubs are advertising UFC 246 screening parties.

Sapphire‘s UFC 246 bash starts with the preliminary events at 6 pm in the club’s Showroom. (The main event usually starts between 8 and 9 pm.) The Sapphire Showroom features three movie-screen sized HD screens, Dolby surround sound, wrap-around smaller monitors, plus plenty of Sapphire’s stacked babes. The view and sound are so good you practically *feel* the punches land.
Their basic fight party package is $35 and includes free limo transport to the club, free admission, a line pass, Showroom seating, and the club’s always-excellent free buffet, served at the proper temperature by a professional catering staff. There will be drink specials throughout the fights.
