Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul in the Vegas Strip Clubs

So far, two Las Vegas strip clubs have announced viewing parties for the Mayweather/Paul fiasco exhibition fight on Sunday, June 6. I thought the Jake Paul/Ben Askren matchup was nutty, but this Mayweather/Logan Paul fight is even screwier that that. Logan Paul, in case you don’t follow the YouTube fight scene, is Jake Paul’s big brother. But let’s look at the stats.

Mayweather is 50-0-0 and has never been seriously hurt in the ring. Some consider him the best fighter of all time, though at 44, he has been mostly retired since 2015. Granted, he did have that fluke fight with Conor McGregor in 2017.

Logan Paul’s record, by comparison, is 0-1-0, which is to say he’s had one fight in his “career” and he lost. Logan, however, is only 26 and stands 6’2″ as opposed to Mayweather’s 5’8″ stature. I don’t believe Floyd has ever fought a man with such a height advantage.

But why is this event even happening? Money. The public is crying for crazy entertainment. Mayweather is always fun to watch. Logan Paul, like Jake Paul, is a one-man clown show. Right now, the oddsmakers have Mayweather as a -1500 favorite, with Paul the underdog at +700. But those odds are skewed by the early bettors who jumped on Paul bets when the opening line on Floyd was -5000! The oddsmakers believe Floyd is a 99.9% favorite.

Whatever, it should be a good show and it will definitely be a much bettor show with a topless babe in your lap. This is a Showtime PPV event, so you can have the same fun at home for $49.95, assuming you’ve got a topless babe at home. Otherwise . . .
