Halloween is big in Vegas and from my perspective, it may be the best night all year in the Vegas strip clubs. That’s because on Halloween night we actually get to see the strippers strip.
On October 31, the dancers wear costumes–crazy costumes, sexy costumes, weird, unusual, and sometimes even traditional costumes. On past Halloweens I’ve seen witches and nurses and schoolgirls stripping, and nuns and fairies and vampires and cops. One thing I can tell you about Halloween: The costume parties are a lot more fun when you get to see the costumes come off.
Here’s a rundown of what you’ll find in the Vegas strip clubs this Saturday night.

Palomino Club – Where the Ghosts Lose Their Bedsheets

Scarlett Dances at
Palomino Club
Palomino Club (club review / club website) for many years has had a tradition of creating a haunted house. I wrote about last year’s “Project X” installation here. This year, there’s no Project X, but you can expect to see the club’s gorgeous stage dancers stripping out of all kinds of crazy getups, and when Palomino’s dancers take it off, they take it all off, including their g-strings.
Palomino is the only strip club in Vegas where you can drink alcoholic beverages and watch totally nude dancers on stage. The drink prices (drafts $6, domestics $8) are good all night every night for both locals and out-of-towners.
The VIP room dances are also totally nude and with no extra bar tab or bottle fee. This could be your chance to undress a nun or an angel or even Little Red Riding Hood in private. (And what good is a sex drive if you can’t act like a pervert once in a while?) The new upstairs VIP room–the Lipstick Lounge–has comfy booths, each one curtained for privacy. High mileage nude private shows in the Lipstick Lounge start at 3 songs/100.
Scarlett (pic above), who was our October Dancer of the Month, will likely be dressed up in something crazy for Halloween. In the photo above, she’s wearing my favorite costume.
Groups of two or more can get free admission to Palomino (a $30 savings for each member of your party) by calling 1.702.327.7258 for the club’s free limo. Locals who arrive in their own cars are always free, but if you arrive late on a busy night, you may be hit with a tab to cover two drinks up front.
Pro Tip: If you’re a solo guy going to the club, save $20 on the admission charge either by driving yourself or taking a cab to Jerry’s Nugget casino and then walking across the street to Palomino.
If you take a cab directly to Palomino, the cabbie will hit the club with a high head fee and you’ll have to pay the full $30 cover. If you drive yourself or walk over from Jerry’s Nugget, you’ll only pay $10. The cabbies know this trick and might complain, but what the hell, when you need an éclair you need an éclair–the specialty of Jerry’s coffee shop. Or call the club at 1.702.327.7258 to see if they’re picking up a group near you soon. If you’re willing to walk to the casino next door, you may be able to hop aboard the club’s free shuttle with that group. |
Note: Palomino gets packed on the weekends, so arrange for limo pick-up by 10-10:30 pm–or buy a package at the club website–to make sure both a limo and a good table will be available.
Sapphire – Dennis Rodman, 400 Topless Dancers, and You
The Halloween Extravaganza at Sapphire (club review / club website) is hosted by NBA legend Dennis Rodman this year. Rodman will also act as the MC and judge of the Sapphire dancers’ costume contest. Expect a big crowd for this bash.
Sapphire has more topless dancers in one place than any other club anywhere and the lap dance scene is wild. High mileage on the main floor and an unbelievable selection of gorgeous female bodies.
Sapphire’s package deals (buy online) are a good value. You get a break on the drink prices, plus free limo transport and admission, and also a line pass and a reserved VIP table. On Halloween night, if you don’t have a reserved table, you may not get a seat (and it’s hard to get a lap dance if you don’t have a seat).
If you’re alone, the VIP65 package gets you a reserved table and provides twice the bang for your buck (see my $ analysis in the club review –link above), all expenses considered. Call 1.702.869.0003 to reserve the club limo. Sapphire will waive the $15 reservations fee if you purchase a 2-for-1 drink ticket–a no brainer.
Heads-up: If you go to Sapphire’s Twitter @SapphireLV before Saturday and guess what Dennis Rodman’s Halloween costume will be with the hashtag #DRinVegas, you could win a trip to Sapphire NY. (My guess: Mini-Me) |
Porn Star Halloween Party at Artisan
AVN (Adult Video News) is primarily known in Vegas for sponsoring the Adult Entertainment Expo and Porn Awards ceremony every January at the Hard Rock Hotel. But this year, AVN is putting together a two-day bash that will run from 10 pm – 4 am on Friday (Oct 30) and again from 10 pm – 4 am on Saturday (Oct 31).
The AVN Halloween website lists 35 adult film actresses who will be there to party, many of whom have been featured performers on Vegas strip club stages, including Tasha Reign, Brandy Aniston, Riley Reid, and Cindy Starfall.
General Admission is $200 each night and covers your admission into the main party room. VIP Admission is $450 each night and gets you into the main party room plus a reserved VIP area with an open bar. See the AVN website (link above) for other options, tickets, and more details.
Burlesque at the Boom Boom Room
Brazilian bombshell Sweetie Bird will be the feature performer for the Halloween edition of this show. A couple of my other local favorites, Kitschy Koo and Buttercup Delight are also on the bill among others, plus a costume contest, candy treats, and more.
General Admission $15, VIP table up front $20, 21+, doors 8:30, show 9:00, Boomer’s Bar, 3200 W. Sirius, Las Vegas. For more info see Boob Boom Room Burlesque.

Pussyrama at Double Down Saloon
If you’re still looking to party on the day after Halloween, you might want to check out “Pussyrama” at the Double Down Saloon. It’s an anything goes show with burlesque (Kalani Kokonuts), comedy and music by the Pussyrammers. The Double Down Saloon’s signature drink is their fabled ass juice, and they’re also the birthplace of the bacon martini. No cover. 4640 S Paradise, Las Vegas. 21+
Sunday Night Football at Crazy Horse III
If you’re looking for a Sunday Night Football viewing party, check out Crazy Horse III (club review). The pizza’s on the house and mix-and-match buckets of beer (5 beers) are $20. It’s a good party.
Bikini Bull-Riding at Gilley’s
If you like cheap beer, shit-kickin’ country music, and girls in their underwear, Sunday night is always fun at Gilley’s (inside Treasure Island). The 11 pm Bikini Bull-Riding contest is actually pretty sexy–amateurs, mostly in their skivvies, trying to stay on that mechanical bull to win money. No cover charge. You must be 21+.
