A Better Way to Choose a Vegas Strip Club

If you're looking for information on the best strip clubs in Las Vegas, you just hit the jackpot, Jack. You've found the ultimate Las Vegas guide to girls peeling off their underthings in public.

Las Vegas Topless Clubs, Nude Clubs and More

There are 16 topless gentlemen's clubs in Las Vegas, seven clubs where the girls are on stage fully nude, ten casino shows that feature topless showgirls, bars and nightclubs that feature erotic entertainment, peep shows, swingers' clubs, 10 adults-only topless party pools, and a dozen male revues, including one where the guys dance nude.

We've got strip clubs with such an awesome number of drop-dead gorgeous dancers that the scene rivals the harem of the Sultan of Brunei. We've got strip clubs that offer private VIP rooms where you can close the door and get creative with the dancer of your choice.

We've got high-mileage lap dances, nude bed dances, shower shows, mud and oil wrestling, bikini bull-riding, pretty beaver contests, and Monday night football titty blizzards. We’ve got strip clubs that feature stacked dancers, others that feature big booty, and still others that feature 18-year-olds who can fly around the stripper poles.

We’ve even got high-end legal brothels an hour's drive from Vegas.

As a traveling man, I've been to strip clubs in just about every state in the U.S.—including Alaska and Hawaii—and a lot of other countries as well, and I've never seen another town like this one for strip clubs. The best strip clubs in Las Vegas are some of the best strip clubs in the world.

Boomers Have Had More Sex than Millennials

Time magazine recently reported the results of a study of 33,000 people that was published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior. The study concludes that of all the generations currently alive in the US, the Baby Boomers have had the most sex.  (All Boomers reading this are smiling knowingly.)

Boomers have averaged 11 sex partners each as adults, while Millennials (born in the 80s and 90s) have averaged only eight sex partners as adults.  This despite the fact that, as the author of the study notes, “Millennials have never known a world where premarital sex was a taboo.”

The Boomers parents’ generation (born in the 20s), sometimes called the Greatest Generation (or at least that’s what they like to call themselves), averaged only two sex partners.

As a Boomer, I did grow up in a world where premarital sex was taboo. When I was in high school (1962-66), neither I, nor any of my friends to my knowledge, ever had sexual intercourse. Ever. Girls simply did not do it. Period.

So despite those three extra sex partners I’ve had as a Boomer that the average Millennial hasn’t had, I really can’t gloat. The fact is I envy the Millennials. I would gladly have traded my three extra tumbles in the hay as an adult for just a little bit of nookie in high school.

Monday and Tuesday of this week, from 6 am till 3 pm, Palomino Club (club review / club website) had 15 dancers working–even though the club is officially closed at those hours. Also present was a film crew and a large cast of actors to film a scene for “Last Day of School,” an indie film being produced by David Saxe Productions.

last-day-of-school-4David Saxe is best known to TVO readers as the producer of the outrageous Zombie Burlesque (show review). Among the Palomino dancers who will appear in the film is Kimmy, TVO’s Dancer of the Month for December 2014, shown here on Palomino’s stage with one of the actors from the film.

The film is scheduled to be released in December of this year, though according to the Last Day of School Facebook Page, it may be shown locally at the Saxe Theater (in Planet Hollywood) sometime in August. We’ll keep you posted.

Panties Auction at Little Darlings

It’s Lingerie Night at Little Darlings (club review / club website) and that means the cocktail servers wear sexy lingerie and some time after midnight their panties (yes, the panties they’ve been wearing all night!) get auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The Sunday night I went had a light crowd, so the club decided to give the panties away to volunteers from the audience rather than to auction them off.  One way or another, the waitresses’ panties are coming off and going home with someone in the audience. You can read my review of the event here.

Little Darlings has the best deals on private-room shows in Vegas, starting at $125 for 15 minutes.  That’s for a nude private show in one of the club’s bedrooms.

Call 1.702.371.2181 to reserve Little Darlings’ free limo. Admission for locals who arrive by their own cars is $15. Out-of-towners’ admission is usually $35, but you can get in for the locals’ price of $15 (a $20 savings) by showing the coupon on our home page below the top blog post.

To use the coupon, you must arrive in your own car or Little Darlings’ limo. (The coupon also entitles you to a 2-for-the-price-of-1 nude lap dance).

“Departure Sunday” at Sapphire Pool and Day Club

If you’re catching a flight home from Vegas today, Sapphire Pool and Day Club (pool review / pool website) has a special deal for Vegas visitors who depart on Sunday.

After you check out of your hotel, call Sapphire at 1.702.869.0003 and they’ll send their limo for you, bring you to the Sapphire Pool for no charge, store your luggage, provide you with a locker where you can change clothes, and when you’re done partying at the pool, they’ll limo you and your luggage to the airport in time for your flight. The cost of this service: zip. The pool party runs from noon to 6 pm and it sure as hell beats sitting around an airport all afternoon.

Sundays at Gilley’s – Bikini Bull-Riding

If you like cheap beer, shit-kickin’ country music, and girls in their underwear, Sunday night is always fun at Gilley’s (inside Treasure Island).  The 11 pm Bikini Bull-Riding contest is sexy and fun–all amateurs, mostly in their skivvies, trying to stay on that mechanical bull to win money. No cover charge. You must be 21+.

9 1/2 Years Behind the Green Door (Reviewed)

greendoorbookI recently discovered a book about San Francisco’s notorious Mitchell Brothers and their O’Farrell Theater.  The book, 9 1/2 Years Behind the Green Door by Simone Corday, is one wild read.

From 1981 through 1989, Corday was a dancer at the O’Farrell Theater in San Francisco. I wrote about this club in my article, “The Birth of Lap Dancing,” where I also lamented that Hunter S. Thompson’s novel about the Mitchell Brothers was never published.

I’m glad Corday stepped in where Thompson feared to tread. 9 1/2 Years Behind the Green Door is gonzo journalism at its finest. Simone Corday was Artie Mitchell’s lover for ten years so her perspective on these crazy years is unique and right in the middle of the action.

In the 1970s and 80s, the O’Farrell Theater forged the path taken by most gentlemen’s clubs today. The Mitchell Brothers dancers literally invented lap dancing in the mid-70s, and took the art of striptease on stage to heights undreamed of by the burlesque dancers who came before them.

The O’Farrell Theater was the first strip club where dancers went out into the audience to collect tips, the first club with “private rooms” where the shows were more intimate and touching was encouraged, the first club where dancers became independent contractors and had to pay “stage fees” to perform.

Simone Corday takes us inside the dancers’ dressing room, and inside the dancers’ lives. But she mostly takes you inside her own life, as she discusses how she got into nude dancing and how she felt about performing, her opinions on the other dancers she worked with, the club personnel, and the customers. She’s painfully honest.
