A Better Way to Choose a Vegas Strip Club

[]

If you're looking for information on the best strip clubs in Las Vegas, you just hit the jackpot, Jack. You've found the ultimate Las Vegas guide to girls peeling off their underthings in public.

Las Vegas Topless Clubs, Nude Clubs and More

There are 16 topless gentlemen's clubs in Las Vegas, seven clubs where the girls are on stage fully nude, ten casino shows that feature topless showgirls, bars and nightclubs that feature erotic entertainment, peep shows, swingers' clubs, 10 adults-only topless party pools, and a dozen male revues, including one where the guys dance nude.

We've got strip clubs with such an awesome number of drop-dead gorgeous dancers that the scene rivals the harem of the Sultan of Brunei. We've got strip clubs that offer private VIP rooms where you can close the door and get creative with the dancer of your choice.

We've got high-mileage lap dances, nude bed dances, shower shows, mud and oil wrestling, bikini bull-riding, pretty beaver contests, and Monday night football titty blizzards. We’ve got strip clubs that feature stacked dancers, others that feature big booty, and still others that feature 18-year-olds who can fly around the stripper poles.

We’ve even got high-end legal brothels an hour's drive from Vegas.

As a traveling man, I've been to strip clubs in just about every state in the U.S.—including Alaska and Hawaii—and a lot of other countries as well, and I've never seen another town like this one for strip clubs. The best strip clubs in Las Vegas are some of the best strip clubs in the world.

Best Las Vegas Strip Clubs Updated for March 2015

The March 2015 update of TVO’s “Best Las Vegas Strip Clubs” has been posted.

In compiling the data I use to make my recommendations, I try to look at everything from the dancer quality and quantity to the quality of the lap dances, private shows, stage shows, and special events, to good value in drink prices and VIP room prices, to the general comfort and attractiveness of the clubs.

The clubs who made the cut this time each have different strengths, which you can read about in their descriptions, but overall I’m looking for the clubs most likely to turn you on, at the best value, and with the lowest hustle.

This list is always in flux, the competition is tough in this town, and there are some contenders who didn’t quite make the cut this time who may make it in a future update.  In the meantime, have fun out there.  The Vegas strip clubs are the best in the world.

Deja Vu Showgirls’ Private Show Special

Deja Vu (club review /club website) started some lap dance specials last month that are proving popular with customers, including my favorite private dance deal in town:  $150 for 15 minutes alone with one of their delectable topless dancers in a truly private room with a door you can close.  That’s only $10 more than you’ll pay in most Vegas clubs for 10 minutes in the group VIP.

Nevada residents, don’t forget to ask for your locals card for great drink deals! (See the club review for details.)

Out-of-staters, use the coupon on the lower right sidebar of our homepage to get free admission to Deja Vu Showgirls (and save $33).  Call 1.702.366.1633 for the free club limo.

Workshop on Stripper Eye Contact at Las Vegas Burlesque Studio Tonight

Di' Lovely

Di’ Lovely

Cha Cha Velour’s Las Vegas Burlesque Studio will be conducting a workshop on audience seduction tonight.

The workshop, aimed at dancers, will be taught by San Diego burlesque performer, Di’ Lovely.  It starts at 8:00 pm and costs $25 at the door (or $20 if you reserve in advance–you’ll find a link to sign up below).

The workshop is titled “The Lascivious Approach,” and is described on the event’s Facebook page:

Take power of your audience, with strong eye contact and wanton glances. This class will focus on slowing down, being aware of your own body, and letting yourself go to raw, organic movement. Not only will you seduce the audience, but you may even turn yourself on!

This workshop is great for ALL LEVELS of performers who want to break it down, focusing on emitting more sensuality rather than being too focused on dance choreography. There will be interactive exercises with other students, as well as movement across the floor–on the floor. Wear long leggings and sleeves because we’re bound to get dirty! Shoes optional. No choreography will be taught.

The Las Vegas Burlesque Studio is located at 1800 Industrial Rd Suite 205, Las Vegas–right in the heart of the Vegas strip club district.

See the The Lascivious Approach Facebook event page for more information or to make a reservation through Paypal.

Deja Vu Showgirls Petitions U.S. Supreme Court

[See Feb 25 update below.]

Since 2006, Deja Vu Showgirls (club review /club website) has been fighting with the state of Nevada over the Live Entertainment Tax (LET). Deja Vu has already taken its case to the Nevada Department of Taxation, State District Court for Clark County, the Nevada Supreme Court, and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals–all without success.

Now, according to Law360, Deja Vu is petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to review the Nevada Supreme Court ruling, and I admire Harry Mohney for doing it.

Deja Vu is bringing the case as a First Amendment issue. The State of Nevada imposed a 10% Live Entertainment Tax, allegedly on all live entertainment venues in the state, then subsequently created 26 “exemptions” to the tax–such as the “family oriented” entertainment exemption, and exemptions based on the “occupancy load” of the venues, etc.–that has resulted in the tax being imposed on strip clubs only, which obviously was the intention all along.

Deja Vu argues that although the tax law never states that the LET is a tax on strip clubs, the effect of the exemptions written into the law has made the LET a tax on strip clubs, which is a violation of the First Amendment. All forms of entertainment are protected by the First Amendment and should be treated equally by the tax laws.

Deja Vu is seeking not only that the law be abolished as facially unconstitutional, but that all back taxes collected by the state under this law be refunded. In the fiscal year that ended in June 2014, the strip clubs in Nevada paid $3.76 million in Live Entertainment Taxes.

The question now is whether a U.S. Supreme Court packed with feminists and Opus Dei Catholics will even hear the case.

[Update, Feb 25, 2015: The U.S.Supreme Court has already denied Deja Vu’s request to review the Nevada Supreme Court’s decision. No surprise to me.]
