Las Vegas Topless Clubs, Nude Clubs and More

There are 16 topless gentlemen's clubs in Las Vegas, seven clubs where the girls are on stage fully nude, ten casino shows that feature topless showgirls, bars and nightclubs that feature erotic entertainment, peep shows, swingers' clubs, 10 adults-only topless party pools, and a dozen male revues, including one where the guys dance nude.

We've got strip clubs with such an awesome number of drop-dead gorgeous dancers that the scene rivals the harem of the Sultan of Brunei. We've got strip clubs that offer private VIP rooms where you can close the door and get creative with the dancer of your choice.

We've got high-mileage lap dances, nude bed dances, shower shows, mud and oil wrestling, bikini bull-riding, pretty beaver contests, and Monday night football titty blizzards. We’ve got strip clubs that feature stacked dancers, others that feature big booty, and still others that feature 18-year-olds who can fly around the stripper poles.

We’ve even got high-end legal brothels an hour's drive from Vegas.

As a traveling man, I've been to strip clubs in just about every state in the U.S.—including Alaska and Hawaii—and a lot of other countries as well, and I've never seen another town like this one for strip clubs. The best strip clubs in Las Vegas are some of the best strip clubs in the world.

Prostitution Is Now Legal for the Wealthy

Of the major world economies (G20 countries), only five outlaw prostitution:  China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United States (with the exception of Nevada’s legal brothels). Such great company we keep!

But a new article by SouthBay Research (via Zerohedge.com) makes a pretty strong case that prostitution is essentially legal for the elite (the 0.001%), just not for the rest of us.

A website called SeekingArrangement.com was created in 2006 purportedly to help female college students (“sugarbabies”) who cannot afford to continue with their schooling find sponsors (“sugardaddies”) who will pay for their educational expenses in exchange for “companionship.”

According to the article, 3.3 million hopeful sugarbabies have posted profiles on the site. Since the US govt reports that there are 11.5 million female college students in the US, purportedly 30% of the women in college in this country are actively seeking men willing to be their sugardaddies.

Of course, SeekingArrangement insists that this is not prostitution, as the sugardaddies are seeking real companions and these women are seeking “mentors.”

According to SouthBay Research, the average annual income of the sugardaddies registered on the site is $500K, and the average monthly payment made to the sugarbabies is $5K.  (That’s a good deal for the sugardaddy–about the equivalent of four visits a month to a Nevada brothel.)

Welcome to the new service economy.  The article also reports that the UK’s Office of National Statistics says prostitution now accounts for 0.7% of UK GDP.

Las Vegas’ First Marijuana Dispensary Opens Today

EuphoriaWellness2Forty medical marijuana dispensaries were approved for Clark County last year, and the first one–Euphoria Wellness–finally opened for business today, Monday, August 24. The pot shop is only serving “invited” customers today and tomorrow, but will open to the general public on Wednesday.

Nevada’s dispensaries will cater to medical marijuana patients from any of the 19 states that currently issue medical marijuana cards. That makes sense since this is a tourist destination and interstate travel with marijuana, especially on airlines, could be dangerous.

Unfortunately, with only one legal seller at the moment, pot is expensive in Las Vegas. Depending on the strain, the price averages around $100 per quarter-ounce. Because of the shortness of product available, Euphoria Wellness is currently limiting purchases to a half-ounce per person. You can find the store’s menu and price list on the Euphoria Wellness website.

Almost 10,000 Nevada residents have medical marijuana cards–with roughly 7,000 in Clark County where Las Vegas is located–so expect the lines to be long at Euphoria Wellness until a few more of the authorized dispensaries open for business.

State regulations prohibit pot shops from using slang terms like “grass” or “weed” in their marketing, as the state wants its dispensaries to look more like pharmacies than head shops.

Euphoria Wellness is located at 7780 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, 702-960-7200. Open daily 10 am – 8 pm (10 am – 6 pm Sunday).

Next year, legalization of pot for recreational use will be on the ballot here. Based on recent polls, Nevada is expected to vote in favor of legalizing weed for all adults to enjoy.
