Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is a life/figure drawing session where sexy burlesque dancers pose while you draw and paint pictures of them. In a bar. So you can drink while you’re struggling to get inspired. Really. This is at the Artifice Bar downtown and it happens on the third Thursday of every month.
Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School was started in 2005 by a NY artist & burlesque performer and now has over 110 branches from Hollywood to Helsinki, including London, Rome, Tokyo, Berlin, and Melbourne. At Dr. Sketchy’s you get to draw glamorous burlesque dancers and performance artists, compete in contests, and win wacky prizes. And drink booze for inspiration.
The drawing session runs from 8 – 11 pm this Thursday night, November 19, at the Artifice Bar, 1025 First Street, Las Vegas. Bring your art supplies. No talent required. Must be 21+. No cover charge but tipping the models is encouraged.
