This Weekend in the Vegas Strip Clubs

Friday, July 16 / Saturday, July 17 / Sunday, July 18

Are the Vegas Strip Clubs Back to “Normal?”

Linny Mae Hosts Sapphire’s Topless Pool Party on Saturday

Short answer: No.

Long answer: They’re trying but there’s a long way to go.

The two Vegas strip clubs that are closest to what they were before the shutdown are Palomino Club and Little Darlings. Both of these clubs feature fully nude dancers. Palomino has a full bar, so guests must be 21+. Little Darlings serves no alcohol, so guests must be 18+. But if what you come to Vegas for is the wild lap dance orgies, Palomino and Little D’s won’t do the trick for you.

Neither of these clubs ever had a wild lap dance scene in their main showroom like the big topless clubs. Both had exceptional stage shows and guests at these venues go there primarily to watch the shows. Those shows are back at both clubs and they’re as wild as they ever were. At Little Darlings, prepandemic, lap dances were always performed in private booths away from the main room. At Palomino, guests who wanted lap dances were led by the dancer to a smaller room adjacent to the main room.

The wild lap dance scene that Vegas strip clubs were famous for is not what it used to be. Dancers were out of work, with no unemployment or pay of any kind, so many left town. A number of other states with strip club scenes allowed their clubs to reopen months before Vegas, so a lot of our dancers went to where the work was. Some have returned. Some have not. Some have quit the biz simply due to the fear factor. Close intimate contact with strangers has lost a lot of its appeal as a moneymaking gig. Likewise, many customers have a more standoffish view of strip club entertainment. They’re just not into tossing another twenty-dollar bill at every babe who says, “Want some company?”

Unfortunately, the standard twenty-buck lap dance isn’t standard anymore. Sure, you can find $20 lap dances, but at the higher-end gentlemen’s clubs, many dancers are asking $30 and $40 for a lap dance. This doesn’t go over great with many customers. Some clubs no longer have $100 (three-song) VIP dances. Locals are sometimes now asked to pay an admission fee, or purchase a bottle package, at clubs where they used to just walk in for free. Because similar price hikes are occurring in the casinos with room rates, restaurants, shows, etc., Vegas visitors are more and more feeling like victims of price gouging. This is not a good image for this town that had been reputed for decades to be a vacation place with great deals.

Vegas will not be Vegas again until the conventions return. Even though much of Vegas has reopened, the conventions are not back and likely won’t be until well into next year. This town thrived on always having tens of thousands of businessmen with fat wallets who came here to have fun and blow off steam. We need those guys or this town is in trouble. Family tourists just don’t blow money like drunk businessmen out with their peeps.

I will continue to post any strip club news and coming events, but the pickins are pretty slim.

Sapphire’s Topless Pool continues to follow its standard summer schedule, opening every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 pm with guest DJs every day. This weekend, on Friday, July 16, DJ Soxxi will be making the deck rock. On Saturday, July 17, Instagram babe Linny Mae will be the Summer Swim Host, while DJ Quira will be spinning the tunes. (Pic of Linny Mae (above) from her Instagram page.) On Sunday, July 18, DJ Flow will keep the beats beating. To reserve a lounge chair or other pool package for the VIP deck, daybeds or cabanas, click here, or call for the limo, more info or anything else at 702-869-0003. (Ask them what they can offer with shade!) Topless, full bar, 21+

Little Darlings continues to feature “Theme Shows” on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 11 pm. Watch their cute young dancers (18+) strip out of skimpy costumes. Starting next month, Little D’s will be featuring porn stars on the weekends. See schedule here. Because there’s no alcohol served at Little D’s, you only have to be 18+ to enter. The club is open every day from 11 am till 6 am, except Sunday from 6 pm till 4 am. Call the club at 702-366-1141 for reservations, limo, or more info. Nude, no alcohol, 18+

Palomino Club, still the only strip club in Vegas with both a full bar and totally nude dancers, is popular with both locals and tourists. Palomino’s dancers take it all off both on stage and in the VIPs. This club has the highest standards in Vegas when it comes to hiring dancers that are gorgeous, sexy and really good dancers. And they all get naked. They’ve also got some of the best drink prices for both locals and out-of-staters. Check out Palomino’s package deals here, or call the club at 702-642-2984 for reservations, complimentary limo service, or more info. Nude, full bar, 21+

I went to Little Darlings 2 weeks ago. $8 for a soda (one drink required), no dancers on stage, and no dancers would perform lap dances, VIP only. I live here and I like a lap dance as an introduction to how the girl is. If it works out, I’ll come back for a 30 min bed show. The dancers want all your money right now. One even asked me “how much will you be paying today?” I understand that the pandemic affected the entire strip community, but I hate to see greediness. Be humble, be friendly, not everyone here is a drunk tourist.

    Back to the blockage.

    Vegas has reinstated mask mandates.

Up here in the Gem State, when there was a loose mandate, clubs either igored it or, in one case, had people sign a waiver form.

I’m scheduled for a trip to Skin City in mid September. Fingers crossed that some small part of the idiotic madness fades.

David L: Not sure where we’ll be in Sept. Not even sure where we’ll be tomorrow. Right now it appears that masks are merely “recommended.” Some casinos are requiring their employees to wear masks, but not customers. Don’t know how the strip clubs will respond to the “recommendation.”

    It’s called inflation.
    Look it up.
…..and its here to stay for a decade.
$20 lap dances will be $100 within 3 years.
If the clubs are even open.

    Hi, Arnold.

Pardon me for asking about another topic–I don’t believe I saw anything on the site. Do you have any thoughts on the sites that claim to have the strippers and girls shows that come to your hotel room? Is it all a scam to get into your room? You can recommend any that are legit/reputable? Are there specific things I should look for?
    Thanks.

Justin S: I have no idea what is currently happening in the Las Vegas escort/companion scene. I’ve never availed myself of those services, but we published many reports from TVO readers about their experiences, good and bad. Post-pandemic Las Vegas (and it’s looking more and more like it’s not post-pandemic but still mid-pandemic) is nothing like the Vegas of 2019 and prior. Even before the pandemic, there were many ripoffs in that biz. The legal brothels in Nevada have always been the safest way to get what you pay for.
