Is it true that the U.S. Olympic Committee members have been visiting Sapphire, the World’s Largest Gentlemen’s Club (club review / club website), as they consider adding lap dancing as an official Winter Olympics event?

This is a new monthly burlesque show at the Baobab Theater which is located in the Town Square mall on the south end of the Strip.
Performing tonight are Loulou Roxy, Suwasit Fly, Raychel Clow, Deneen Farasha Millner, Kelly Vohnn, Ilissa Mayrose, Elena Lev, Katie Kenner and Maria Sarach. (Weird … a burlesque show where the performers’ names almost sound like real names.)

Tonight, the yummy Reagan Reilly will be dancing at Palomino Club (club review / club website), the only strip club in Vegas with a full bar and fully nude dancers.
Reagan was a TVO Dancer of the Month last year and performs as a feature dancer all over the country. Sapphire Comedy Hour
The Sapphire Comedy Hour showcases up-and-coming stand-up comics every Saturday night at 8 pm. Your $20 entry fee gets you into Sapphire’s main room for no extra charge when the comedy show is over. You can also get a $65 VIP ticket to the Comedy Hour, which includes limo transport and admission, plus an open bar from 8 -9:30 pm.
Top working comics (tonight Brandon “Buffet” Jackson and a “guest comic” TBA) that change weekly plus a classy burlesque dancer (Ms. Redd) and a fine magician (Mon Dre, who is suave and reminiscent of the young Lance Burton) make this a great way to get your wife or girlfriend into a strip club. Expect a lot of risqué humor and off-the-wall banter from the comics as they often use this venue to try out new material, especially over-the-edge stuff that might be strip-club appropriate.
There’s also a dinner option in the Showroom (gourmet Mexican from the El Dorado Cantina) before or during the show. Showroom doors open at 7 pm.

Burlesque Roulette
Burlesque Roulette is a monthly burlesque show (every second Sunday) at the Artifice. I reviewed this show when it was at The End, another locals bar (see my review). It’s a burlesque show based on a crazy idea … What if the performers had to spin a wheel to randomly determine which song they had to strip to, and the person picking the songs had a weird sense of humor? That’s the concept.
At tonight’s show, the performers who will be taking their clothes off to strange music are Amber DeVille, Darla Tiesing Cox, Mae du Luc, SpiderElla, Suzil Von, and Nomi Malone. Emcee Miranda Glamour. The Artifice is located at 1025 First Street, Las Vegas. 9 pm. $10. Full bar. Must be 21+.
Bikini Bull-Riding at Gilley’s
If you like cheap beer, shit-kickin’ country music, and girls in their underwear, Sunday night is always fun at Gilley’s (inside Treasure Island). The 11 pm Bikini Bull-Riding contest is actually pretty sexy–amateurs, mostly in their skivvies, trying to stay on that mechanical bull to win money. No cover charge. You must be 21+.
