UFC 234 Viewing Parties in the Vegas Strip Clubs

Will “The Reaper” Be UFC’s Next Big Thing?

UFC 234 will take place in Melbourne Australia on Saturday, February 9 at 7 pm PST. (Some websites are reporting this fight taking place on Sunday, February 10, but that’s because 7 pm Pacific Standard Time on Saturday night is 2 pm Australian Eastern Time on Sunday afternoon. The fight’s on Sunday afternoon if you’re in Australia, but here in the USA, it’s on Saturday night.)

The main event is a UFC Middleweight Title fight between current belt holder Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker (21-4-0) and challenger Kelvin Gastelum (15-3-0). With a nine-fight winning streak, and no defeats in the past five years, Whittaker has a big following among MMA fans who are hoping he will become the next big thing. His wins these past five years have been impressive — four by KO or TKO and five by decision, but four of the five decisions were unanimous. If Gastelum can pull off a win against Whittaker it would take his career to a new level, but the sports books all favor Whittaker by a wide margin.

The co-main event — Silva vs Adesanya —is of interest to longtime MMA fans, because until 2013, Anderson Silva was longest-reigning champion in UFC history. Joe Rogan once called Silva the “greatest professional mixed martial artist of all-time.” But 2013 was a long time ago and his career took a turn for the worse with losses on four of his last five fights, with one of his wins by decision in that period overturned when he failed a drug test. Silva is 43 years old now, so the fans who loved him in his prime are hoping he can pull out a win in what could be the final fight of his career.

The Vegas Strip Club UFC 234 Parties

Deja Vu Las Vegas stripper Tiffany

Deja Vu Showgirls Vegas still has the best UFC fight viewing parties in Vegas. With a three-hour open bar (domestics and wells) from 6 – 9 pm, and a cover charge of just $20 for locals and out-of-staters alike, this is the locals’ favorite.

Cover is $45 if you arrive by rideshare or taxi, so don’t! Call (702) 308-4605 for free limo transport to the club (or text SGLV to 702-767-8118). Check out Deja Vu’s VIP package deals for solo guys, groups and couples. They have a $19 package that includes not only transportation and entry fee, but a premium drink and a 2-for-1 couch dance coupon.

No other strip clubs in Vegas even attempt to compete with Deja Vu for overall value. Deja Vu has the best private VIP dance prices of all Vegas topless clubs, one of the reasons they are always highly rated in TVO’s guide to the best Vegas strip clubs. A private bedroom dance starts at $150 for 15 minutes, or about what most Vegas topless clubs charge for 10 minutes in the group VIP.  Topless, full bar, 21+

Crazy Horse III has a $50 package that includes transportation to the club, free entry, a $60 drink voucher and free pizza. Topless, full bar, 21+

Other Vegas strip clubs that often screen UFC fights — Sapphire, Hustler Club, Rhino, etc. — have not yet announced their intentions regarding UFC 234, but this may be due to their focus on the upcoming Super Bowl. I’ll add more details on other UFC 234 parties as they are announced.
