Palomino Club is the Only Full-Time Vegas Nude Club with a Full Bar
Palomino Club is the only strip club in Vegas to feature both nude dancers and a full bar. Because it was licensed for both booze and naked girls before the county passed more restrictive laws, the nude dancing and full bar were grandfathered in, making this club truly one-of-a-kind in Vegas. It combines the best features of both the nude and topless clubs.
For example, most of the topless clubs in Vegas charge customers an additional bar tab for time spent in the VIP room. The nude clubs don’t since they don’t sell drinks. Although Palomino serves liquor, the club goes with the nude clubs on this policy and they charge customers no extra bar tab in their VIP rooms. That means you get a great deal on private dances at this club.
The nude clubs usually have better stage shows, with better stage lighting and better dancing than the topless clubs, which typically have small dark stages. Like the rest of the nude clubs, Palomino has a large well-lit stage with lots of rail seats and two poles, at the perfect height for watching (and getting attention from) the exceptionally talented dancers.
In fact, the stage show at Palomino Club–with erotic acrobatics and pole dancing with multiple dancers on stage on multiple poles–is so good that I consider it the best in town right now.
And although customers must be 21 or older to be admitted to Palomino Club, the dancers only have to be 18. That age allowance was grandfathered in with the nude dancing and drinking allowance. So the Palomino has a good percentage of college-age dancers, as well as a good number of the top experienced dancers who could work at any strip club in this town.
Plus, while you can get high-mileage topless lap dances for the usual $20 in Palomino’s main room, you can also get high-mileage nude dances in the club’s curtained cubicles and private rooms. Even the 3-songs-for-$100 nude dances at Palomino take place in a private booth with an opaque curtain. That’s good privacy for less than you’ll pay for the group VIP at most Vegas topless clubs.
And the club’s luxury private rooms (see Palomino Penthouse below) take privacy to the highest level available in Vegas. They are fully enclosed rooms, furnished with sofas or beds, where you can be alone with a dancer and shut a real door.
Palomino also has a more intimate feel than most of the high-tech topless joints that have been taking over the Vegas strip club scene for the past 20 years, and I like that. Its layout and lighting are grounded in classic striptease. The drive lately in the Vegas clubs has been to make clubs flashy and “space-age,” where the club itself is the show and the dancers are just decorations. Palomino’s more about giving some of the best and most beautiful erotic dancers in Las Vegas a real stage where they can show their stuff.
Palomino Club has been one of my regular stops for quite a few years now.
Reasonable Drink Prices
Another plus at Palomino: Domestic beers and wells are only $8, and domestic drafts are only $6. And that price is for every customer, whether you’re a local or from out-of-town.
Most of the high-end topless clubs in Vegas are now charging $10-$14 for domestics, wells or drafts.
Still, the major draw for most customers will be the fact that you can watch 100+ toned, young, consistently beautiful nude dancers while simultaneously drinking an adult beverage.
The Palomino Penthouse – Private VIP Rooms
Last year Palomino opened four private “theme rooms” upstairs (in the upstairs area the club calls “The Penthouse”) that are very plush and totally private, with curtained doorways.
These rooms are for 30-minute and 60-minute private shows only. The official club price for these rooms is $350 for 30 minutes (includes a $100 bottle) and $600 for an hour (includes a $150 bottle). However, dancers can and do quote higher prices at peak hours.
Most strip club dancers in Vegas are independent contractors, so there is no way for club owners to force dancers to charge an official club price. But you should not be discouraged by a high price quote from a Vegas dancer these days. I recommend you read my post How to Negotiate in a Vegas Strip Club. It tells you how to avoid these high quotes in the first place and get the club’s more reasonable price (or close to it) for a private dance.
The rooms are called the Harem Room, the Purple Room, the Red Room, and the Bedroom. (Here’s a pic of LaDonna in the Bedroom. The only difference in real life would be that her bikini would come off.)
All Palomino theme rooms have adjustable lighting and their own sound systems that allow the customer to choose the music and volume. Two of the rooms also have flat-screen video monitors with a selection of pornos. As some of the dancers in the club have made pornos, it’s sometimes possible to watch the dancer you’re with on screen hardcore.
If the private bedroom rates are more than you want to spend, I recommend a serious look at private dances in the private curtained booths in the Lipstick Lounge, also upstairs. The rooms contain a small comfy sofa, and the doorways are covered with a curtain that covers the entrance.
Private high-mileage nude shows in the Lipstick Lounge start at 3 songs for $100 with no extra bar tab. That’s excellent privacy for the price. For deals on longer private shows in the club’s curtained rooms, see our VIP Room Value Guide.
The main room of the Penthouse has been remodeled – new lighting, new furniture and a new stage. If you like watching dancers close-up, and you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, check out this room. Full bar. Great room for bachelor parties. (See Palomino’s Penthouse Gets a Makeover.
Palomino Club also offers a unique VIP lounge area on the main stage downstairs. (That’s not a misprint.) Purchase any bottle and you and your peeps can sit right up there along the backstage wall in comfortable lounge chairs and watch the dancers get naked from what surely have to be the best seats in the house.
The onstage VIP lounge is also perfect for a small bachelor party.
Free Admission with Free Limo Transport
Palomino Club offers free round-trip transport by the club’s shuttles for groups of two or more, with free admission for anyone who arrives by the club transport. Call 1.702.327.7258 to reserve your ride or book at the Palomino web site.
If you’re a solo guy coming to the club, the club is offering a new $60 “Flying Solo” package gets you round-trip transportation to the club and back to your hotel in one of Palomino’s shuttles (saving you $40 to $60 in cab fare), free admission (normally $30), and your first two drinks on the house (value $20). So, depending on where your hotel is located, this package has a value of $90 to $110 dollars. See the club website or call 1.702.327.7258 to reserve. (This package is only available Sundays through Thursdays.)
If you drive yourself to the club, the official fee for out-of-towners who arrive by their own car is $10, but the club has also been charging a two-drink minimum at the door ($30) on exceptionally crowded nights. That would usually mean on Friday and Saturday nights after 10:30 p.m. when a lot of tourists are in town. If you’re charged the two-drink minimum, you’ll receive two drink tickets to give the cocktail waitress.
The other option is to purchase one of the club’s bottle packages in advance (suitable for two people to larger groups, or solo guys who don’t mind buying a bottle).
With a package, you’re not only guaranteed free admission and locked-in free limo transport, but you’ll also have a reserved VIP table for the night. That’s a real value at this club, which gets packed at peak hours. With a reserved VIP table, you won’t lose your table if you leave it for a private nude show in the VIP or private rooms.
If you don’t see a package that’s right for you, the club is good about coming up with custom packages. Just call and tell them what you’re looking for.
If You Take a Cab
If for whatever reason you decide to take a cab to the club, you can save $20 on admission by simply having the cab take you to Jerry’s Nugget (a casino right across the street). If you walk over to the club from Jerry’s Nugget, you have arrived by your own transport, and the club will admit you for $10 instead of $30.
That’s an extra high-mileage lap dance for you. You save the money because the club doesn’t have to pay the cabbie a $50/head “tip.”
If the cab driver tries to press you on whether you’re going to Palomino, just say no, you love the diner at Jerry’s Nugget–which is great, by the way. I eat there a couple of nights a week.
