Spearmint Rhino is Still One of the Plusher Clubs in Vegas

spearmint-rhino-dancer-reviewSpearmint Rhino has finished a major remodel that was driving away customers, as many of its dancers left for Sapphire and Treasures. Still, Spearmint Rhino remains one of the plusher clubs in Vegas and it’s now larger; it continues to eschew the typical high-tech look for something more opulent and flattering to skin tones. Think English country manor with lots of comfy seating, fake paintings (nudes, of course), muted lighting, and big ceramic vases in the passageways.

Rhino has also upgraded its VIP offerings to modern Vegas standards, with a couple of hallways lined with dark private VIP rooms for 1-on-1 encounters with dancers.  But the private rooms are more basic than the elegant private rooms at Sapphire and Sophia’s, and unlike the rooms at Sapphire and Sophia’s, they lack a door you can close.

For many years, Rhino was the best gentlemen’s club in town, packed wall-to-wall with tens.  It used to be that a dancer had to be thin and movie-star pretty with big breasts to work here.  Now the club has a wider variety of dancer types.

Rhino has one main and several smaller stages, but this is primarily a lap-dance club. The group VIP rooms are small spaces with multiple open booths.

There are separate group VIP rooms for the hour, half-hour, and three-song dances. If you intend to spend time with a series of dancers in the private room, you only have to pay the bottle fee once.

Hi, can Scott or anyone confirm lap dances are still 20 at the Rhino? 30 min ViP 200 + 2 drinks and 1 hour 400 + 4 drinks? I’m not sure if this is still the rates or if things have changed.

I sent a note to the Spearmint GM. We’ll see if he wants to go on the record. My experience is you can always find a $20 dance, but they’ll quote you $40. Same goes for that relative bargain VIP. That’s a lot of booze to absorb and not re-up when your time is up!

As usual… no answer from the Rhino. Here’s my experience.. if that’s your budget.. that will be the agreed on price. Hols firm if those seem fair. They do to me.

Be careful…. trend is to have a VIP price for drinks.

        It ain’t less!

Was there January 30th 2022. Laps were generally $20 on a Saturday night. Several girls asked $40 but were easily coaxed into 2 for $40 or 2 for $50. I passed on anyone firm on $40. VIP was $200 + 2 drinks, at $25 each, for 30 min. I can confirm I was quoted $400 plus 4 $25 drinks for an hour. But, the hour VIP in the curtained booth was more.

Another great night at Spearmint Rhino. Saturday 01/29/2022
While they did open the whole club up, it never got so busy I couldn’t find a table. A few more Cubans working that night but mostly skinny American girls. Plenty of stage tipping. Got a 30 minute private dance. $200 and 2 drinks. When you compare that to Treasures 15 minutes for $100-$150, depending on the dancer, plus 3 drinks, Rhino is the clear winner. The private area benches are kinda small and not so private but a very high mileage. YMMV.
One dancer said you can do an hour for $400 plus 4 drinks in one of the private curtain drawn rooms along the wall. I could totally go for that with my favorite girl. Yeah, there’s an entry fee. Consider if you’re with a group going in the back for free with a bottle purchase. Arnold, do all the clubs allow visiting dancers? Girl that ended up in vip with me, she was just visiting. Thanks for upping the erotic factor 10% to 65%. I think it’s higher but you can check it out for yourself. Thanks for the weekly updates!

Anton: I’m not sure if “all the clubs allow visiting dancers,” but I’m sure most do, as dancers in Vegas strip clubs are independent contractors.

After almost 5-years of tricking out with my wife, together we have NEVER done the Rhino. We planned to do Scores Fri 12/11 but were turned off by the high cover charge (again likely NFR) based on us being locals that drove themselves. So we decided to pay the well known high cover of $40 at Rhino. Club was also packed. Very upscale..in fact it wasn’t even an option to check our coats (it was 38 degrees out)! But the cashiers very friendly and taped our coat ticket to back of our idea. We didn’t have a bottle so had seating in the pit. I’d say 70% of the dancers had GORGEOUS FACES…model quality. And most were natural; not a lot of fake boobs or booties. Amazingly most of these beauties had no booty haha…for what that’s worth. But best part of all: LAP DANCES ON THE FLOOR! First we come across and yes, most dancers were charging $20…some has high as $40. Just negotiate fellas. Very posh club and DJ played a great variety. They had some pretty good stage dancers but, how their setup of having VIP tables all around the stage, discouraged activity. Really odd. Wife got a high contact lap dance on the floor.Liqour is pricier and so is bottle services (no local love) but still worth a trip for locals or out of towners.

Holy Fuck What a Night!. Sunday Dec 5. Spearmint Rhino’s club review needs updating. Usually go to Treasure’s but not anymore. Girls were hot as hell! 8,9 and 10s. All shapes but mostly thin with tight, squeezable, spankable asses. Mostly white American girls. All girls asked for $20 laps main floor. Very High Mileage! Reminded me of pre-pandemic Vegas! Vip 15 minute $100 + 2 drinks. 30 minute $200 + 2 drinks. Amazing night! No one asked for more than $20 for lap dance. Vegas is back at the Rhino!

Just an FYI cover charge is $40 + tax so an even $43.60 that is with their limo ride. No free entry for the foreseeable future. Called treasures they had a $20 cover charge.

Spearmint needs an updated review (this one is 6 years old). The club is now double the size, with new areas to the left of the main entrance.

The girls look like swimsuit models to my eyes. Thin with nice breasts. (Sapphire gems are a step below.) The entry is free before 8pm. And the girls look gorgeous

In my view, Spearmint Rhino remains a full step below Sapphire in dancer quality.

And Rhino is closed so you can’t have an updated review.

No Rhino complaints here. The general manager gave me his business card, and it’s like a “free entry” pass. No cover charge ever since.

The girls scheduled Thursday to Saturday night (10pm start) are very beautiful & it’s rare for any girl to claim “you didn’t give me enough” (maybe once in last ten visits). The hustle has calmed down.

I also like the new room space, which essentially doubles the club space. They have a small hiphop room & a quiet mellow room (lounge). Private VIP space with curtains are available in this new space.

Going to Vegas next week and trying to decide between Rhino, Sapphire and Déjà Vu. Had gone to Rhino a few years back but the quality seems to have gone down since then. Any updates on cost of a lap dance, mileage, hustle factor etc.? Is Sapphire or Déjà Vu a better bet than Rhino?

    Reply
    • Arnold Snyder

Ran, the prices quoted here are still accurate, with Sapphire’s prices the least variable dancer to dancer.

Rhino never fully recovered its dancers who left during their prolonged rehab. The best of them moved to Sapphire. Deja Vu is more a third-tier club.

Sapphire is filled with 9s and 10s, with some dancers so hot they rate an 11. Their mileage is unsurpassed, crazy high. And the club gets so many customers their dancers don’t need high hustle.

Sapphire is a world-class club that has prices less expensive than 2nd and 3rd tier Vegas clubs, and their prices are consistent. I’d recommend Sapphire as your best bet.

Rob, you can wear nice shorts. No cut-offs, no gym shorts. You might want to consider Sapphire. They’ve got the only 24/7 free limo. That means they’re getting the out-of-towners with more money to spend, which means they get more and better dancers.

Arnold — first off, this site is awesome and incredibly helpful, so thank you.

I had a couple questions I was hoping you might be able to answer. I used to really enjoy visiting Spearmint Rhino up until about 1.5 years ago. I still like the club and the service is generally good, but I have found that now (in my loose approximation) that 90% of the girls working their have fake boobs. I personally like full natural boobs. In talking with a couple of girls when I was there about a month ago, they said there is a new manager who, despite being gay, has a ‘type’ which includes fake boobs. With this, was wondering if you have found the same to be true at Spearmint in your experience and if so, what clubs do you recommend for someone who prefers pretty women with natural boobs?

    Many thanks!

    Reply
    • Arnold Snyder

Bo, the girls at Sapphire tend to be stacked and there is no manager requiring fake boobs. With 400+ girls on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll tend to find as many girls with full natural boobs as you’ll find girls of all types in any other club in Vegas. Maybe half half.

Same at Treasures. There will be girls with fake boobs but it’s not a requirement so you also find plenty of girls with full natural boobs.

Both are high-mileage lap dance clubs with outstanding service. Both attract the top dancers in town.

I went there several times this year and it’s been great. To save money I go around 7 am — no cover. If you wait for the right dancer you can get beauties who give decent mileage on the main floor and a very wild time in the group VIP room. The 2-drink minimum applied for VIP.

Only once in my approximately 6 visits was I disappointed… that morning there were only a handful of rather heavy, unattractive dancers with a high hustle factor. But since it was free, I walked out after 5 minutes, having lost nothing.

But this was the exception. For the other visits, the dancers I spent time with were pretty and friendly l. But mileage will vary depending on the girl.

I visited November 24th, and me and my spouse had an amazing time. We didn’t get pressured into lap dances and when we would kindly decline some dancers, they would smile and walk away. Thankful I didn’t run into any rude staff or dancers. We both received very high mileage lap dances. I saw the user above me commented that the prices have been raised? We got charged the standard $20 per lap dance not $30.

Any updates or recent review on this club? Does this club do high mileage dances? Can I expect these dancers to be very fine with great bodies and nice big bootys? Or I am better off going to deja vu?

Ras, Spearmint Rhino had a rehab that went on for some months and they never quite recovered. Sapphire has replaced them as the preeminent topless club for guys who like stacked 9s and 10s with high-mileage lap dances.

Deja Vu has great mileage too and is a great value.

Jay, locals are free except at peak hours on busy nights, like weekends. Then they’ll make you pay for two drinks, and if it’s crowded enough, they could charge more.

    Hi
I was planning on Rhino for a birthday evening with my wife and some friends ina week or so, there’s about 6 of us. But have been seeing mixed reviews on “hustling” and rude dancers. I went once a long time ago and it was fun, and wanted my wife to see it.
That said, I have a couple quiestions?
    1) If we do end up going to Rhino (this will be a Thursday evening) should we do bottle service for a table? But with more than 5 of us that’s going to double the bottle price = $$$ Or do we just do the free limo and sit where we can, hoping it won’t be to crowded?
    2) should we scrap the idea of spending all of our time at Rhino and just do some hopping to see a bit more of the clubs Vegas has to offer?
Side question? – if we do the latter will the other clubs limos pick us up from the previous clubs, or is that service only offered from hotels to get the fre admission?
FYI I’m not so much into curvy, but can’t speak for my whole group so a suggestion on a place with a wide range of girls would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Spike, it’s an excellent time to try out some of the other Vegas clubs, and they’ll definitely send their free limos to pick you up at another club. In particular, with your mixed group, I’d recommend Palomino Club (see our post on the best Vegas strip clubs for couples, which applies to your mixed group.

You probably wouldn’t have a problem finding a table together on a Thursday night at Rhino if you just call for the free club limo, especially if you get there a bit before 10 pm.

Let me know if you have any other questions and have a great birthday party.

    One slight addendum:

A dancer commented that they no longer have to pay a stage fee or a house fee.

Apparently it’s now a “locker fee”.

There may have been some eye-rolling on both our parts at this.

    Trip Report

Mid week visit, Wednesday August 16

The Rhino used to be my “must visit on every trip” club, but the nickel and diming add-ons put it on the never mind list in late 2013. Decided to give it another shot (I like buxom gals and no other club has come close (Sapphire came close)).

The exterior part of the remodel looks good. Apparently they bought out all the businesses on the north end and turned it into more space and a parking garage.

Over my previous visits, I ended up paying covers ranging from $22 to $52. Pulled in (I always drive my own car/a rental) a bit before 11 PM. ID check and wanding and…I was waved on through. Very surprising (and my experience is no guarantee for any other customer/night) but a pleasant surprise.

Standard drink of Jonnie Walker Black on the rocks was $14 which seems in line with an upscale club (other than Sapphire and Mayweather’s new Girl Collection). At one point I tried for a longer aged single-malt. Was quoted fifty-five and was prepared to pay it, but in the end they were out and I ended with a standard 12 year for fourteen bucks.

Part of the rebuild was to put in a secondary space, but it wasn’t busy enough for it to be open while I was there. This was the first time I didn’t see a jam-packed floor by midnight on a workday evening. It did get crowded by the time I left just after 3 AM.

The girl variety has spread out quite a bit over what I remember from 2013, but there’s still a lot of top-heavy (natural and assisted) ladies moving around.

The dancer scene that evening reminded me of the two most important rules of lap-dances:

1: The dancer can say “No.” If she’s busy or tired or nearing the end of her shift she can decline. And during the dance, it’s best to slowly test the bounds to see her limits. If she moves your hands away a second time, it’s not “Slow down”, it’s “That’s a no-go zone.”

2: The customer can say “No.” Unless you hit a jackpot or took someone down at the poker tables, that’s your hard earned dough. If the ladies body/personality doesn’t click with you, you are under no obligation to do a dance until you’re ready or not at all. Didn’t get a glom-on right out of gate at the door, but a certain lady during her stage time decided I was her ATM and the other girls were trying to steal me. After the stage time, she ran me down and turned the hustle up higher than K. C. and the Sunshine Band (ask your parents). Did eventually get a couple of very nice lap dances from her, but I had to work to make it happen on MY schedule.

Got a few rail-side dances ranging from VERY nice to borderline air. When one of the dancers (Rachel) asked to move up to the sitting area two steps up and across from the main stage, the floor manager/bouncer directed us to the Lounge. Rachel (and other dancers) said this was news to them.

New to me, this is very similar to the open 3/$100 room, but without the drink requirements. Also a bit brighter and with less couch/bench room. If those are full, there are also high sided rolling chairs like those on the main floor, but the dancers I took back there for the most part preferred to wait for room on the benches.

Didn’t get to any of the VIP options (had a bit more spending cash than usual, but I’m not a baller/roller by any means). Having said that, the $20 dances in the lounge offered a slight upgrade in privacy and while YMMV, some of the dances were VERY on the edge.

While not the dancer I closed the night with, I feel the need to mention Molly. As I said I prefer buxom ladies and she’s light to mid b-cup, but she made the difference with attitude. Wild, pushing the envelope, teasing, fun and she genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing with me and what I was doing with her. If you hear her name when you’re in the club, definitely give her your time and money.

The hustle was maybe a bit more than ’13 (with certain spikes) but I think The Spearmint Rhino Las Vegas is back in my rotation.

Again, Arnold, sorry if this got too long.

Billy, you’ll find all types of women at both clubs. In the evening, especially as you get closer to peak hours, Sapphire has about twice as many dancers as Rhino–literally uncountable hundreds, so you’ll also find twice as many exotic women of different backgrounds there.

I was in town with a couple of friends last week and hit the rhino on Thursday and Friday night. We planned Thursday much better as we arranged for a pick up by the club limo. Friday we decided to go back for another visit but got no answer when we called to arrange a pick up. We got a ride from the SLS for free but knew we’d have to pay cover. Didn’t expect $54.50 (yes that’s a 5). There were 3 of us so we basically left 8 lap dances at the cashier vs on our laps. Speaks volumes about using the club limo!

Thursday we arrived around 10:45 and the club was busy but not wall to wall. We got seated at a table very easily. We were in a good spot by stage 2 and had plenty of girls stop by our table. All were friendly and I found the hustle factor to be quite low. Lots of very attractive women. Mostly 7 or 8 out of 10 with a few 9s sprinkled in. We got a bunch of lap dances but resisted vip until I got an offer I couldn’t refuse. Maybe the girl (can’t recall her name) was having a slow night but she offered me a deal in the 3 songs for $100 (plus 2 drinks at $20 ea) room. She did 6 songs for $100 plus drinks. It was my bday so she said it was the birthday discount. Unfortunately mileage was only avg for the rhino and I felt I got better dances in the main room. But $100 for 6 lap dances was too good to pass up.

Friday was a bit more crowded but still got another table pretty easily. We arrived around midnight. Similar situation in terms of no hard sell on vip room and we had a few of the same girls come by that we got dances from on Thursday. There was one girl who went by Shah who was our favorite. Middle Eastern with a body that’s not quite thick but has some meat on her. Great booty and stacked. Fantastic lap dances with high mileage.

We had a great time both nights!

Hi Arnold, My wife and I love the comfort level, great looking girls, low hustle, good mileage and drink prices at Palomino and the fact that at 9pm we can sit on the rail and then have a private couples dance for $100 before we leave at 11pm. We also enjoyed Sapphire after Comedy night and Monday night football for the free admission and drinks although we tend to let one beer last 2 hours in the club at $15 each. The girls are top notch. These will continue to be our go-to clubs but still want to try others. Babes, Cheetahs, OG, Deja Vu, Talk of the Town, Play it Again, Lil Darlings – just average in comparison. Would you say that our next trip to something new should be Spearmint Rhino? A bit higher hustle factor and expensive drinks at 9pm or try earlier in the evening?

I just had a group of friends in town for a party. They have been to both clubs many times. They wanted to go to Sapphire.

Imagine a large, dark elegant club where hundreds of guys have babes in their laps snuggling and bouncing in their laps and pushing their titties in their faces.

Let’s say you get the VIP60 package at Sapphire. It’s $60 per guy. You want to prebook online because it’s a better deal (instead of $50 in alcohol, you get $50 in alcohol plus a free shot).

The club limo picks up you and your friends. At the club, the limo driver escorts you to the front of the line. They do the required metal detector wand, take you to Will Call for your drink tickets, and escort you to your reserved VIP table. There is no time limit on the table.

(If you reserve an actual room, which is not what you’re talking about, there may be a time limit.)

You and your buddies hang out as long as you feel like it, girl watching and getting high contact lap dances on the floor from beautiful topless women.

If you want to make sure you can get a table together without having secured a reserved table with a drink package, go a little early. There will be lots of beautiful dancers there at 9-9:30 pm, maybe even a little before 10 pm, and there will still be tables. Order drinks and settle in to girl watch and get dances on the floor.

I have usually been able to get a single seat at the stage at Rhino as late as maybe 10 pm or a little earlier, but I doubt you can get a table for a group of friends that late. They have a $300 bottle package for up to five guys that would get you a table, free limo, and free admission. But the website says clearly that time restrictions on your table may apply.

But Rhino is smaller, so sometimes even if you have a table, it can be hard to get a decent lap dance just because it’s so packed. Sapphire is big enough that people are not so packed in.

Both clubs have an incredible selection of dancers.

Thank for the info. If you do get a bottle service package how does that work when you show up? Do you prebook it? it there a time limit on the table or can you hang out for a while? We are debating whether to go to Rhino where we have been before or to somewhere like sapphire where seats may be more plentiful without getting bottle service. Not looking for VIP dances, just regular floor dances and hanging out with friends for a few hours. Any suggestions? Thanks again for any guidence/input and you quick responses.

Outstanding — that’s a relief. Was afraid the plague of resort fees would invade the strip joints as well. I know that by now in many clubs even the 3×100 offer gets a drink tab attached but that’s different.

Meanwhile the deal with the prepaid minimum being at the manager’s discretion is going to make for some confused people.

Hey, no, thank YOU for all the good work. I too am puzzled by it, as I’m hearing it from people returning from there and we know how reliable such testimony can be.

There was no VIP “room charge” at Rhino last night. I suspect whoever informed you of the “room charges” was confusing the required bar tab you have to pay in addition to the dancer’s time. Two drinks are required for a half-hour and four drinks for a full hour, and these drinks must be purchased at the VIP room price of $20 each, so it may as well be a room charge, but Rhino–like most topless clubs in Vegas–has had this VIP room drink policy for a long time.

Arnold, I understand that the Rhino has recently set up a new structure of “room” charges for VIP on top of the drinks/tab requirements?

Checked out times and this one is really flexible. The “lunch” special runs every day from 6 am (really) to 3 pm. Then drink specials extend to 7 pm.

I’ll kick off this show. Just had the awesome Rhino lunch special. Choice of cheeseburger, steak sandwich, or chicken club with fries and a beer for $4.95. Wow! All really good, but steak the best. Got the fries replaced with celery and carrots. Almost no one there (huh?), except about a dozen good-looking dancers, none of whom were overly aggressive, especially when I told them I was there for lunch. Runs till 3 pm daily.
